Customize and Personalize

I know I have had quite a few wedding related posts lately, but I can't seem to help myself.  There is just something about wedding planning that is magical.  I can say this now that I am married (2 years already) and don't have to plan another one!  I have been making unity candle sets for the last few years and have said many times that you can customize with ribbons and flowers, etc, but have never taken the time to make-up some examples.  I finally did - here are the results?  What do you think?  To see sets in other colors or to make a purchase, please visit my etsy shop.

Chip & Dip/ Beer-Butt Chicken Roaster

My first attempt did not fair so well, but this one turned out great.  The plate is composed of two glazes - a beautiful blue glaze with brown undertones on the inside and a rustic brown/caramel on the outside. The inside bowl can be used for dip or you can place a beer can in it and use it as a Beer-Butt chicken Roaster (oven use only).

It's all about the Reuse

I've been thinking for some time about how to reuse the broken or unsellable work that I have.  You can only use so many pieces for pencil jars!  I had an idea to create a hotplate from the broken pieces and scrap glass that I have.  The results are interesting. Perhaps more suited for wall art -  I will be researching this idea a little more.  What do you think?

Uptown Westerville and will continue to offer a variety of vendors from arts,
crafts, home parties and farmers- 
every Saturday from 10am-1pm at the corner of State St and Home St in

We are having a special MOM’S DAY  on Saturday May 12th from
10-1pm – great time to get last minute gifts and learn about our market.
